Lighting: floodlit night circuit, hard blue-white pools from the light towers, warm sodium spill between them, long specular streaks on the wet track, exhaust heat shimmer, faint tyre smoke drifting through the beams. Deep black sky, distant grandstand lights soft and out of focus.
