Valeria Peña, a paranoid horror writer in her late twenties, with shoulder-length black hair in a messy low ponytail, reading glasses, an oversized gray sweatshirt, black leggings and wool socks. Keep her face, glasses, clothes and proportions consistent.
SETTING:
A dark study with an unplugged laptop, scattered books and papers, cold coffee, a handheld audio recorder and one vertical crack in the wooden wall. A desk lamp lights Valeria and the recorder. Snow presses against the window while wind surrounds the cabin. No readable text or screens.
ACTION:
Valeria starts the recorder and presses it against the wall crack. At first there is only silence. Then a weak distorted voice whispers her name. She asks in clear English: “Who are you?” The wall answers: “I wrote your books before you stole them.”
She rewinds the recorder. It plays a distorted child lullaby instead of her voice. The laptop turns on by itself but shows only a blank glow. A second voice from inside the wall urgently whispers: “Leave the recorder. Get out now.”
Valeria runs to the window, but snow has risen above the frame. The wall crack widens as if something pushes from inside. Wood splinters. A pale hand emerges holding a fountain pen stained red. It scratches meaningless lines into the wood, never readable words. The recorder loops a distorted laugh. The hand reaches toward Valeria's face. Cut to black on her scream.
