0:00 to 0:03 THE FREEZE HOOK
Handheld medium shot down the aisle. The bus lurches. A commuter paper coffee cup launches from a hand, lid popping, liquid arcing. Dani and Walter both lunge toward the empty seat from opposite ends. Hard sound drop to silence. Everything stops. Coffee suspended as a glittering brown ribbon, dust motes still, pigeons pinned outside the window. Only Dani and Walter continue moving.
0:03 to 0:07 REALIZATION
Both freeze mid lunge, straighten slowly, look at the suspended coffee, then at each other. Slow 30 degree camera orbit around the frozen splash between them.
DANI: "Okay. Either we are both hallucinating, or that seat is cursed."
WALTER: "It is my seat. I have been standing for eleven blocks."
DANI: "Eleven blocks? Try eleven years, buddy."
0:07 to 0:11 FIRST EXCHANGE
They rush each other. Comedic but real physicality. Walter throws a broad open hand shove, Dani ducks under his arm, plants a palm on his chest and slides past on the rubber floor. Whip pan follows her. She grabs a chrome pole and swings her legs at his shoulder. He blocks with a forearm. Both land clean, no cartoon physics.
0:11 to 0:15 THE BRIEFCASE
Low angle. Walter reaches back for his briefcase. It hangs motionless in the air three feet behind him, frozen mid swing.
DANI: "Your briefcase is stuck in the sky."
WALTER: "Then I will improvise."
He tugs a frozen commuter umbrella free with visible effort. The commuter stays rigid, hand still curled around nothing.
0:15 to 0:19 FROZEN OBSTACLE COURSE
Fast tracking shot along the aisle. Dani vaults over a frozen seated man, uses a suspended shopping bag as a step, and pushes off an immobile standing passenger shoulder. Walter swings the umbrella. She parries with a rolled newspaper pulled from another frozen hand. Three crisp exchanges, readable, no slow motion.
0:19 to 0:23 POLE FIGHT
Both grab the same chrome pole and spin around it in opposite directions, colliding shoulder to shoulder. Camera arcs with them. Walter glasses slide down his nose. Dani bun collapses. He hooks her apron strap. She twists free, leaving him holding a limp green apron.
WALTER: "I have your apron."
DANI: "I have your dignity."
0:23 to 0:27 TRUCE
Both stop, breathing hard, three feet apart, hands on knees. Medium two shot, sunlight bars across their faces. The frozen coffee ribbon still hangs between them.
DANI: "Truce?"
WALTER: "Truce."
They shake hands. Micro pause. Both eyes flick to the empty seat.
0:27 to 0:30 TIME RESUMES
Both explode toward the seat simultaneously. The instant they move, the world unfreezes. Coffee splashes down, passengers jolt, pigeons scatter outside, engine noise slams back in.
LAST FRAME: Locked medium wide composition down the bus aisle. Dani and Walter are wedged half onto the single seat side by side, both mid shove, both grinning, coffee spraying across the sunlit air between them. Nine confused passengers turn to stare.
