A young female elf tracks tiny footprints through a realistic ancient forest, bow in hand. Natural late-afternoon light, shallow rocky stream, moss, roots and ferns. The environment is constantly alive: gentle wind moves her loose hair, braids, leaves, ferns and branches; stream water continuously flows with moving reflections, ripples and turbulence around rocks.
SHOT 1 — Ground-level close-up: tiny three-clawed footprints in wet soil. Her boot stops beside them.
SHOT 2 — Over-the-shoulder through vegetation: she discovers a tiny juvenile dragon hiding between huge tree roots. Slow rack focus from elf to dragon.
SHOT 3 — Extreme close-up of the dragon’s eye, then the elf lowers her bow and crouches.
She smiles softly:
“Oh… you’re way too cute.”
SHOT 4 — Dragon eye-level close-up. It innocently tilts its head.
She slowly extends her hand:
“Come on… I won’t hurt you.”
Hold a short silence.
SHOT 5 — Extreme close-up: the dragon’s nostrils tighten, claws press into the soil, deep inhale.
SHOT 6 — Low wide side angle: WHOOSH! A huge physically realistic flame passes just above her head. She ducks at the last instant. The pressure wave violently pushes her hair, ferns, leaves and dust.
Several loose hair tips are singed and immediately begin producing thin pale-grey smoke. The smoke curls naturally and drifts with the same wind direction as the vegetation.
SHOT 7 — Tight reaction close-up. She freezes, smells something, notices her smoking hair, touches the burnt tips, then looks at the dragon:
“Okay… maybe I spoke too soon.”
SHOT 8 — The dragon suddenly breathes fire again. Whip-pan as she runs.
SHOT 9 — Dynamic handheld running shot in front of her. She races through the forest while the tiny dragon furiously chases her.
She shouts breathlessly:
“YOU’RE COMPLETELY INSANE!”
Her singed hair still produces a few thin smoke wisps trailing naturally behind her as she runs.
SHOT 10 — Fast lateral tracking through trees, strong foreground parallax. Tiny dragon running like a deadly predator.
SHOT 11 — Camera at water level. She jumps across the stream. The dragon charges directly through it, creating realistic splashes, droplets, ripples and moving water.
SHOT 12 — Sudden silence. She hides behind a massive tree, breathing heavily. Wind gently moves the vegetation and her hair. Only a faint final smoke wisp remains.
SHOT 13 — Tight profile close-up. Very slowly, the tiny dragon’s head appears beside her face from behind the tree.
She freezes and whispers:
“No…”
SHOT 14 — Extreme close-up of the dragon. Its nostrils widen, belly and chest expand as it takes one enormous breath.
HARD CUT TO BLACK BEFORE THE FLAME.
