In the miniature apartment is a miniature version of herself.
25–27s: The miniature woman suddenly looks upward.
Directly toward her.
27–30s: The real woman instinctively steps backward.
From somewhere inside the wall behind her comes a soft knock.
Then another.
Cut to black.
Sound: distant construction noise, ventilation, footsteps, plaster cracking, breathing. No music until the miniature figure looks up. Then one low sustained note and a barely audible pulse.
Keep the supernatural element extremely subtle and physically believable. No jump scare. The horror comes entirely from recognition.
